BRAND CONCEPT_

TEO – Timeless Everyday Objects a german design brand was founded by David Baur, Lena Billmeier and Eric Hsieh in 2013.

Timeless Everyday Objects, the name itself, makes clear what TEO stands for – high quality products with a timeless yet unique design suitable for everyday life. TEO creates long lasting products carefully made by valuable materials like mouth blown glass or hand spun metal. TEO offers lighting,furniture and home accessories, the collections vivid color and material range adds personality to your home.

CREATIVE TEAM_

The German designer Duo, Lena Billmeier and David Baur are the creative minds behind the entire TEO collection. They know each other since their product design studies at the Hochschule für Gestaltung Schwäbisch Gmünd in Germany. Graduating in 2007 with their awarded thesis project Vision Energy, David Baur and Lena Billmeier proceeded their careers on individual paths for a few years.

David Baur trained as a master craftsman in furniture making and interior design (prior to his design studies) was working for a well-known design agency in Stuttgart, platinumdesign. Lena Billmeier always interested in broaden her horizon on an international basis found her first employment at JDS Architects in Copenhagen, followed by a position as an Inhouse Designer at IDEA International in Tokyo.

Drawing inspiration from different backgrounds David Baur and Lena Billmeier complement each other perfectly in their conceptual and design work. They joint forces and founded their own product design studio in 2012. Important within their work is to create simple and timeless yet emotional products, with a strong and distinctive brand image. Working hands-on with mock-ups, prototypes and experimenting with materials is a vital part in their design process. In combining their german roots with global influences they aim to challenge themselves to create fresh, innovative and beautiful design-projects.
